Donate
Where They Stand's websites are free, with no adverts and no account. Donations help keep them running.
Where your donation goes
Where They Stand is applying to register as a charity, and doesn't yet have a bank account of its own. Until it does, donations go to the founder's Ko-fi page, and pay the sites' running costs.
That means a donation today is not yet a gift to a registered charity, and Gift Aid can't be claimed on it. Once the charity is registered and has its own account, donations will go there instead, and this page will say so.
Ko-fi takes the payment, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, any message you leave and the amount, never your card details.
What it pays for
- The server in London that runs Where MPs Stand, Where Councils Stand, Where Landlords Stand and Where Countries Stand.
- The AI service that writes the briefings on Where MPs Stand, Where Councils Stand and Where Countries Stand. Each site has a hard monthly limit on this, so costs can't run away.
- Off-site backups and the domain names.
Nobody is paid. The founder gives his time as a volunteer.
