50 years of Queens Cross Housing Association

Early day motion 1005, tabled 21 October 2026 by Martin Rhodes (Labour). Signed by 1 member.

That this House congratulates Queens Cross Housing Association on 50 years of service to the people and communities of Glasgow North; celebrates its growth from a small community-led association into a major provider of nearly 4,500 affordable homes; recognises its outstanding contribution to improving housing, building new homes and regenerating neighbourhoods across north-west Glasgow; commends the Association for remaining firmly rooted in the communities it serves and for helping people and neighbourhoods to thrive alongside its investment in bricks and mortar; pays tribute to the generations of Board members, staff, tenants, volunteers and partners whose vision, commitment and hard work have shaped Queens Cross over the past five decades; and wishes the Association continued success as it remains at the heart of its communities and begins the next chapter of its story.
